Annual Reporting

Perkins IV requires states to report annually on progress in achieving their adjusted performance levels on the core indicators of performance. States are also required to report disaggregated data on the performance of students in special population categories described in the law, as well as gender, race, and ethnicity.

Perkins IV requires each state to submit, by December 31st of each year, a Consolidated Annual Report (CAR), which includes narrative responses, financial status reports, and enrollment and performance data on progress in achieving state levels of performance on the core indicators described in Title I of Perkins IV.
