STATE PROFILE
Utah
Utah Career Resource Network

Program Goals and Emphasis

The primary goal of the Utah Career Resource Network is to provide support for the state’s comprehensive counseling and guidance program. In addition, the UCRN promotes improved career and education decision-making through the development and distribution/delivery of various career planning resources, including the state-sponsored Career Information Delivery System. These resources help to emphasize the connections between education/training and occupational choice to students, parents and other individuals involved in career transition. The network also trains teachers, counselors, and administrators to better assist students and parents with career exploration and decision-making.
