Native American Career and Technical Education Program (NACTEP)
This program provides approximately $14.6 million annually to federally-recognized Indian tribes, tribal organizations, Alaskan Native entities, and eligible Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA)- funded schools to provide career and technical education programs for Native Americans and Alaskan Natives. In FY 2007, 30 grants were awarded through a competitive application process for a 5-year period. A new competition is not scheduled at this time.
