U.S. Presidential Scholars in Career
and Technical Education Program

The U.S. Presidential Scholars in Career and Technical Education Program recognizes and honors up to 20 students each year, on the basis of outstanding scholarship and demonstrated ability and accomplishment in career and technical education.

Please note: Nominations for 2017 Scholars may *NOT* be submitted by individual schools, teachers, or students. Nominations must be recommended to and submitted by your State's Chief State School Officer (CSSO). A CSSO is the person who leads a State's department of education and is typically referred to as the State Superintendent, Commissioner, or Secretary. Contact information for the CSSO's office should be available on your State's department of education website.
