National Initiatives

The Division of Academic and Technical Education funds national initiatives that help states to establish and implement rigorous career and technical education programs of study (POS). These programs incorporate state academic standards, link secondary and postsecondary education in a coordinated, non-duplicative progression of courses, and lead to an industry-recognized credential or certificate or an associated or baccalaureate degree.
