2013 State Directors Career and Technical Education Spring Meeting
The Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE), Division of Academic and Technical Education (DATE), is hosting its 2013 Spring Meeting in Washington, DC, on April 17, 2013. Topics to be addressed will include building high-quality career and technical education programs and accountability systems, and reviewing recommendations from the State Perkins Accountability Congress. Time also will be provided for you to meet with your Perkins program administration liaison (PAL) and regional accountability specialist (RAS) to discuss your upcoming July 1, 2013 Perkins grant award. 2011 CAR Training Session 2
Two training sessions are planned for the 2011 CAR Reporting period. The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 from 10-11am EDT. This training session offers an orientation to the online State Plan submission system, so that states can learn to use the online system to easily submit their State Plan information.
