Perkins Implementation

The Division of Academic and Technical Education (DATE) administers formula and discretionary grant programs under the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Act of 2006 (Perkins IV) for the improvements of secondary and postsecondary career and technical education (CTE) programs. DATE also conducts national initiatives to improve the rigor and relevance of career and technical education programs and gathers data for national accountability and state and local program improvement.
