Dear Colleagues –

On behalf of the Division of Academic and Technical Education (DATE), happy CTE month! February marks the annual time that we reflect on the major accomplishments of CTE programs across the country and the remarkable outcomes they produce for the millions of students who participate each year!

This year's theme is "Celebrate Today, Own Tomorrow." For our part, we will be taking to social media to tweet, blog, and otherwise acknowledge—and express our appreciation for—the national, State, and local leaders and practitioners who work so diligently each day to prepare our nation’s students for postsecondary education and in-demand careers. And, we look forward to continuing efforts to develop, build, and sustain high-quality CTE programs that prepare students for the 21st century global economy.
